Baby Myles

Last friday, Kenzie and I decided to take some pictures of Myles. Some baby pictures, before he gets too big. Thought I would try my hand at baby portraits, so here you go, he's a cutie, so easy to get cute pictures of him.

Nottingham

After Scotland my original plan was to go to Barcelona, but there was a change of plans and I ended up going to Nottingham with my friend Niki. He's from there, so he showed me around and we saw the sights.

Statue of Robin Hood at Nottingham Castle

Nottingham Castle

The actual castle itself is pretty much gone, but you can see here parts that are left, and new stuff built on top

Under the castle are caves and tunnels that run all over nottingham, this was just a small tunnel, but very cool. Niki and his sister Kaytee

I love English neighborhoods like this.

Scotland adventure

Hey! I'm back, life is good. All in one piece. It was cooold in the UK. I eventually caught a cold as well. Alright enough chit chat, let's get down to business. I arrived in england on tuesday night, I met a friend at the airport who had just flown back from america that day. We hung out at the airport all night to then catch a bus up to scotland, it was a 10 hour journey from London to Glasgow, quite a day of traveling. There was a huge bmx jam going on at this skatepark called unit 23 on saturday, hence the reason for the 10 hour bus ride. We rode all night when we arrived, had the entire place to ourselves, pretty amazing. Then 12 beligians showed up to share our living space, it was lots of fun. The jam was unbelievable, so many riders from all over the world came to participate. I had a great time. Don't worry I didn't stay in the skatepark the whole time, spent St Patrick's day in Glasgow, shoulda gone to Ireland though.

adventure of the week

My adventure this week was pretty fun, something that i have surprisingly never done before. I went for a snow cat ride. Well, not just a ride, an entire night. We went with a friend of Marco's named Chrigel, he's also friends with Kenzie and Mandel, and stayed a few days in American Fork with Mary Kay, (Kenzie's mom) I found that out on the ride. So all saturday night we groomed First, it was amazing how steep the hills are and how strong those machines are.

we moved massive amounts of snow

fun times in the snow cat.

Just a heads up, I'm leaving for England on tuesday, and I'll be gone about 10 days, so don't expect any posts until I get back, then you can expect lots!

James Bond 007

Yesterday morning I went up to a revolving restaurant on the top of Schilthorn, it's another ski resort within the Jungfrau region, and I have a pass there also, so I had to make a trek over there too. The name of the restaurant is called the James Bond 007, yep, it's as good as it sounds. The restaurant got it's name from the 1969 James Bond movie" On her majesty's secret service" which was filmed up there. Click here if you want to see the trailer for it  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5OCxwZI7YA,

Well, the food was great, the view was spectacular, and the skiing was excellent.

Leukerbad

When I got up this morning I walked upstairs to a nice surprise. Kenzie told me we were going to a place called Leukerbad to swim in the hot springs! The drive to this place was an amazing journey itself. We would drive for about an hour, then drive onto a train, the train would then take us through a tunnel in a mountain, about 10-15 minute train ride, then drive another hour through the beautiful alps up and down winding roads and vineyards. Then we got to this amazing village surrounded by mountains with this great waterpark in the middle of it. So much fun.

I loooved this town, just a driveby, couldn't capture it as beautiful as it was

Leukerbad!

We've arrived!

Ahhhhh, so nice

I unfortunately didn't get pictures of everyone. It's hard toting around a big camera, next purchase will be a small waterproof one.
