St Gallen

I got to spend a little time with my dear cousins Akayleia and Brandon in St Gallen. What a cool city and a great family to visit. BY the way Prestley is the cuuutest little guy, such a sweetie, glad I got to meet him. So here are just a few pictures I took from the hike we did.

First we walked past St George, yes, the name of the town they live in is called St Georgen. I loved this statue.

Then past these amazing houses, we don't have this type of house where I live, mostly just chalets

Then we got to these cool ponds thats people swim in for their healing powers, unfortunately the ponds were frozen over, so I couldn't take a dip.

The Prestley man, he's so cool.

Look, Salt Lake isn't the only place with bad inversion, still a gorgeous view.

Props to Akayleia for haulin Prestley all the way to the top.

Aaaand me, with my notoriously bad hair.

A wonderful time in St Gallen. Thanks for the hospitality guys!

A ski run with me

Ok, for those of you who get motion sickness or just can't stand a shaky camera, I would suggest not watching this. I took my camera with me on a ski journey, I'm always wishing people were with me and could see the stuff I see everyday. So a few days ago I decided to film it. Originally I was going to edit it all nice, but after my computer crashed and all my unsaved work dissappeared, I just took all my footage and made it go 650 times faster than normal. Please TRY to enjoy, it's pretty horrible work, but you get what you get.

Also take note of the beginning when I crash and almost broke my camera. That's right, I did it for you people.

More sledding!

Yes! It worked. I don't know why it wasn't working before.

We had a beautiful sunny day, we all went sledding, so I got more sledding photos. It is one of my favorite things to do, ever. We also brought a new friend along, her name is Kari and she is from Taiwan.

Bode getting ready to start our downward adventure.

Here is Kari, I think she had a good time as well

I was sledding with Myles, I got nervous on some of the steep hills.

We took a route I've never been on through the forest, last year there wasn't enough snow to open up this trail.

Another wonderful day on the mountain. Expect to see more sledding pictures!

technical difficulties

Hmmm, I can't seem to upload pictures, sorry, I have some, now I just need to figure out why this isn't cooperating.

my bike video

I haven't got any new photos, just because it's been snowing the whole time I've been here, and I doubt you people want to see foggy, snowy pictures. So I have something else for you.

My friend Chris and I made a little video of me riding my bmx bike. NOT impressive, but it was a fun thing to do with my time, and I love riding my bike. So for those of you who haven't seen it, here is my little edit from this summer.

So if you haven't seen it, check it out, it's pretty silly.

P.S. I'll try to get some exciting photos or thing to post this week, we'll see.

I'm baaack!

Well, if you are reading this you probably already know that I came back to good ol Switzerland. Not a hard decision really, the opportunity was presented and I jumped at the chance to come back. (Thanks Kenzie!)

Today I mostly want to tell you about my amazing flying experience. I've flown a lot but was fortunate enough to have a very different experience this time around. My flight was from Salt Lake to San Francisco, then San Francisco to Zurich. I was so excited that I only had one layover and to be flying Swiss Air was great. Anyway when started our descent things got a little bumpy, alright not a little, a lot! The turbulance got crazy and people started to get sick, I started hearing crinkling noises from those little white bags, then the vomiting noises, one serious panic attack, then more vomiting. The captain informed us that, due to the wind, we would need to make a loop around and try to land again. With the lovely smell and noises that filled the cabin we began our second descent. Just as bad, more puking, then the girl next to me pulled out that little bag, and I thought we were in trouble. Fortunately we made a bumpy landing, which was followed by a round of applause and about five people rushing back to the bathrooms to clean themselves up, or finish their business. I made it through unscathed, fortunately, but it was a close call. That night I think we were on the news, and I found this in the paper this morning.

That could possibly be my plane upon landing, the winds were out of control, the plane is a little lopsided, but apparently the footage on the news was pretty awesome.

Yes everyone, I'm happy to be back. I'll keep you posted on my adventures.
