I'm such a dork, but I wanted to take these pictures. They didn't turn out very good, and my battery died after a few pictures, I wasn't prepared. oh well. I hope you get a good laugh out of them.

I like making these pictures look old fashioned, I'm weird I know. Don't I look like I belong in switzerland in the early 19th century?

Well people, there you have it. I leave the day after tomorrow, back to Utah, and not so many adventures to blog about. So I'll be leaving now. If I happen upon another adventure I will start making more posts, and who knows, if I take a beautiful picture or want to share something, i may just log on and post something. Not likely, but you never know. Thanks for joining me in my adventures. Until next time.

my second to last post

So when I go home, I'm pretty sure my blog will die. Don't try to convince me to keep it going, I just don't wanna! I will if I go on another adventure, so any suggestions send em my way. Mabel, that camp in South Africa looked right up my alley, put in a good word for me and I'll head out there.....ah, if only.
But be excited because my last post will be pretty awesome, ok maybe not. But I tried to get some fun pictures the other day, but by the time we got the lighting to look good, my camera battery died, so I've been messing with the pictures I got, and maybe they will look alright, at least it will be good for a laugh.

I need to post a picture for today, let me see what I've got...

The man of my dreams, but I was too embarassed to get a good picture of a picture, so I stood off to the side and tried to look inconspicuous, so here is a picture of a picture, from the side, of the man of my dreams. hahahaha

Birthday in Switzerland!

My 29th has been great! thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. We had a fun party here with my little friend Maya, she turned 3, I have photos I need to upload. My friend Patricia gave me an outstanding birthday present, I wanted to share with everyone because it made me laugh so hard.

Easter weekend in Bern

We went to Bern over easter weekend. It was gorgeous! Perfect weather all week, beautiful city, great family, and a stomach flu. Haha, it wasn't too bad, just enough to be annoying. but very enjoyable nonetheless.

Basel take 2

Last weekend I spent in Basel with my friend Jessica. My first time in Basel was quite brief, this time I got very well acquainted with this beautiful city and the surrounding countries, (I got lost on my bike, ended up in France then Germany then back to Switzerland, all in one afternoon!)

Most of these pictures are from the old side of Basel, I loooved that part of town

Jessica fell on her bike and hurt her thumb and took a bar to the stomach

So we rode to Germany and called an ambulance, Jessica is from Germany, so we went there for insurance reasons

All was well at the hospital, no internal problems, so we got back on our bikes and rode back to Switzerland. Fun weekend, minus the hospital, but fun to experience a european hospital.

This spring has been so warm until today, it's now snowing. I feel bad now for laughing at everyone in Utah getting dumped on for the last few weeks. I've made an effort to go running or hiking on a daily basis, at times it's at night, so I don't get to see much but the roads with street lamps. I did take my camera hiking the other day and took some pictures. Here's what I've got to work with.

Bern zoo

So there is a cute little zoo, free to the public in the city Bern. We went with the boys and met some friends and their kids and had a wonderful day. It was a hot one.

Baby Myles

Last friday, Kenzie and I decided to take some pictures of Myles. Some baby pictures, before he gets too big. Thought I would try my hand at baby portraits, so here you go, he's a cutie, so easy to get cute pictures of him.

Nottingham

After Scotland my original plan was to go to Barcelona, but there was a change of plans and I ended up going to Nottingham with my friend Niki. He's from there, so he showed me around and we saw the sights.

The actual castle itself is pretty much gone, but you can see here parts that are left, and new stuff built on top

Under the castle are caves and tunnels that run all over nottingham, this was just a small tunnel, but very cool. Niki and his sister Kaytee
